We are looking for GPS device with Windows CE 5.0 or higher. The screen may be 4.2", 5" or 7" with resolution from 320x240 to 600x480. Have at least 400mhz or higher and as much memory. We need to be able to write to registry (persistent) and \Windows folder.

What units support this?

Thank you.

Most Mio devices like C320, C520, C720 have CE 5.0. Many of the later units by other manufacturers have this capability or more (Windows CE 6.0). All these GPS devices have 4.3 or larger screens, usually with resolutions of 480x272 or greater. All can the "Housebroken" (unlocked) to access Windows.

Of course, you can always check Ebay or Amazon for some great deals. This is just a good source...I am not pushing or promoting either company.

One of the nice things about problems is that a good many of them do not exist.
