I have the new S&T 2010 loaded on my desktop running Windows XP SP3. Everything works okay except I've noticed a couple of minor issues.
First I can't keep the Location and Scale Toolbar turned off. I click the check mark to so it won't display and then save the base map as my default template. Everything else comes back as expected when I open S&T. However the Location and Scale Toolbar is back showing again. It's a minor issue I agree, but it's not working properly and I wonder if I'm the only one having the problem.
Also, I love the new Export to GPX. However, when you imported a .CSV or .TXT file for custom POI's and you later want to Export these same POI's as Waypoints to a .GPX file, I found that depending on the situation the only thing that gets exported are the coordinates and the name. In other words none of the other information, street address, city, state, etc. gets exported.
However, if you manually enter a POI by placing a Pushpin somewhere on the map and enter your own text, Name, Address, City, State, etc... all the information will export to the .GPX file.
The difference seems to be when you import a file to create your POI's the second line, i.e., the first line under the name title in the information balloon is always blank. But if you create your own manual POI within S&T this second line is where you'd typically put your address or whatever information you decide.
Hope someone can give me some ideas. |

| Have you been able to find a fix to the problem? I'm having the same issue and haven't been able to resolve it yet. Driving me crazy. |
