Maybe my search skills have gotten rusty but I don't see any discussion about Streets & Trips 2010.
This forum used to be jam packed with S & T enthusiasts, has everyone moved on to a different solution?
I was thinking of giving Streets and Trips a test run on an upcoming trip, I've been pretty happy with previous versions.
If someone could point me in the right direction or link to a current discussion that would be great.

| Hi Jason, I think many of us are hooked on Streets & Trips, and the software itself is alive and well, too. There have been a few significant improvements in the latest version, features were added which users have been requesting for many years, such as import/export .gpx files, global hide/show pushpins, hide/show pushpin balloons, etc. Now even people who prefer PND (or are unable to use S&T) for navigation can still use S&T at least for trip-planning, and then export the planned trip to their personal navigation device. |

What happened to the useful 2010 Streets and Trips location sensor? (i.e. - old S/T feature where you could simply point the mouse to any map position to obtain it's long/lat info)

Old versions: ..... New versions:
jbermo, the feature is now more conveniently accessible. Users no longer need to enable it to use it. The lat/long has been moved to the bottom right of the window. |

Thank you, Marvin . . . I was looking for where to enable the location sensor, however I had not noticed that it was now automatic and that somehow, a computer setting had clipped off the very bottom of my S/T map display.
Microsoft's S/T is certainly a favorite mapping program. . . . For a wish list however, if only one can de-clutter the many icons on each selected toolbar group, by custom selecting only those icon's most wanted.
Thanks' again -

| Have you tried your local Staples? This morning I saw the software-only version for $49.99 and the version w/GPS for $99.99 at a Staple's location in Richmond Hill, Ontario. |
