hy,
I have a moov n179, and I don't know exactly what version it is.
The problem began when the navigation got stuck on the orange screen. I managed to flash the firmware, but it works very very slow and there is no sound.
Before the flash at start up it wos displayed:
Cobia410.v1.00.0021
on the chip:
COBIA 410 WWE R06 1G 98D7
on the blue screen:
COBIA400_R6_0131 RAM64 MLC 1GB
I tried some firmware files from the first post but with same results.. no sound and the navi is very slow.
MOOV330_EU_ROM_V1.00.0019
MOOV330_EU_ROM_V1.00.0028
MOOV360_EU_ROM_V1.00.0021
I thought it is a moov330..
can this be a moov300?
what shoud I try?

| Can also be moov310 (or maybe moov360??), try firmware for those types too. |

I tried with the moov360 firmware with same results (MOOV360_EU_ROM_V1.00.0021)
For moov300 or 310 I can't find the normal Rom versions. only NA or AU. |

Try to find a software that is able to show the RAW data that came from GPS (serial port) (first you have to unlock your device). Maybe you have a GPS hardware problem. Your software has a Satellites page where you can see how many satellites you 'see'? |

I have a backup file from Mio Moov 500(Cobia_500_64). I need your help. Please make firmware from this SMFlash.img file.
Version rom T510R2.V1.00.0003 (but I'm not sure)

ablbd, hy. can you plz give me an sjf addapted for mio c220 eu? h-jtag detect my cpu, but sjf doesn't. i have a dead gps and i want to restore it. i have this error message in sjf: no cpu is detected<ID=0x0032409d>.
h-jtag detects: ARM920T; 0x0032409D. |

This firmware works. Unfortunately, RAM memory consumption is still greater than before I started playing with the firmware update. The same firmware on a different device is 2.5-3 Mb less. |

| Have you thought that c220 is equipped with s3c2440 cpu, which has a different scan chain than 2443? sjf2443 will never work on this device. I will look after a suitable one... |

I tried this version, but with almoust same results.
The difference is that the navigation doesn't seem to be that slow now, but not as quick as it should be.
and still no sound.
Is there any other version that I could try? |
