Inrix launched a free navigation app for the Apple iPhone. INRIX Traffic! is initially available in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany, with more countries to follow later this year. The system incldues more than 300,000km of motorways, city streets and hundreds of places. It offers real-time traffic information and data on roadside accidents and construction work. The 'Community Traffic Reports' for major motorways are updated every minute. Inrix is an American company with a European office in Germany. It proivdes navigation services to a large number of OEMs, including Ford, ANWB, TomTom, Tele Atlas, Navigon and Microsoft.
