Product page on Xexun site : >> link <<

one oft most actual GPS-Trackers currently is the "TK102" from company XEXUN in China. This unit is offered at relatively low prices and by using a lot of different product names ( e.g. via EBAY ).
Inside is a GPS/GSM-Modul "MC55" or "MC56" from SIEMENS with using SIRF3 GPS-Receiver chips.
Simply the "TK102" can respond to polling calls, but it also can be configured for sending in certain time intervals or after moving. Besides this there also is a geo-fence mode and a way for listening to it's build in microphone. Reply messages can via SMS or GPRS.

I am just doing my first steps with "TK102" and up to now only did test it's SMS functions.
Polling so far did run without problems, but i found, there ONLY was a reply in case "TK102" did have an actual GPS-Fix. Nevertheless also invalid positions seem to be stored within it's memory, because when pushing the SOS-Button while there is no FIX, the Tracker is sending it with being marked as OLD messages ( signal:L ).
It would be interesting for me to hear about this behaviour and general experiences with "TK102" also from others.

I own a TK102 Nano from Rewire Security and my tracker works flawlessly. The software is built-in, all I have to do was assemble and activate it. Very cheap tracker, I hope it lasts for a long time.

Bonjour and hello,
my name is Hein and I'm quite new to GPS tracking. I understand I got to activate my tracking device (TK102-2) via SMS. But I can't send SMS from my smartphone since I only got a mobile data plan, no SMS.

I've also put a mobile-data-plan SIM into the tracking device. The device won't be able to answer via SMS either.

Do you know of any tracking platform provider who would do the SMS stuff for me?

Or does the TK102-2 allow setup via the USB-data cable (which I still don't have)?

Best regards,

i dont think it gives back the imei, instead it would be the current location of the device.

If you have just lost the password you can reset the tracker with the command format.

Just send format by text message / SMS without any password.

Hi all, I have a TK102-2 (it is a clone) it replies correctly to the commands, it sends sms with position for SOS, it reply with position when asked to autotrack (t060s002n123456 for example).
The only thing it don't do is reply with position when called (and this is the function I bought it for).

I sent
Begin ok

admin123456 + phone number
admin ok

everything works but not the answer after calling it.

At the check command it replies with: GSM:100% GPS:NO GPRS:OFF BATTERY 100% but it has a fix (i pressed sos button and it replied correctly with SMS).
Any suggestion?
thanks in advance

Some help if you dont mind please.

I have TK102B. I installed it into the vehicle with the hardwire kit that was available to buy as an accessory. It's hardwired to the interior light.

It was working great for a cuople weeks but then I noticed I couldnt get a response. I got the unit back out again and noticed the battery had swelled and was clearly dead.

I removed the battery and the unit started up again and was working for approx 7 days (vehicle in use most days for at least a short time) but now has stopped responding to commends again.

Ive read this thread and have tried reboot123456, no change, restart123456, no change, begin123456, no change. I have tried calling the unit, no change.

Is there anything I can do to keep the unit on 100% of the time?
I use it only for GPS and the ability to text it to check its status/location in the event the vehicle is ever stolen?

If I get it out again from where its hidden, start it up, then set a move alert will that stop it from turning itself off?

Could this issue be fixed by buying a TK102-2?

Many thanks.

Where can I find / buy TK102-2 configuration toolkit

AzizAR15 Posted - 12 sept. 2014 : 20:06:59
Purchased the TK102B from China. Followed all the instructions and the Lat/Long doesn't change when the car is moving. It shows zeros even the date and time is zero. Set up the time zone and still nothing. What do I do to get if fixed and may be this GPS is a clone.
