Posted - 30 août 2010 : 12:38:23 I had ARoute installed on my computer and everything worked perfectly.
I had occasion to change my C:\ disc. When I try to reinstall AutoRoute, everything works fine until I get to the authorisation piece then things stop. I was wondering if it has something to do with the ID of my computer.
I tried afterwards to install on my laptop and this worked just fine.

Many thanks for your swift reply. I will wait a little while as I am going to mount an SSD as my new C:\ drive. Thanks again. G

Posted - 30 août 2010 : 12:46:01 Yes, it has to do with the fact that a hardware component was changed in the PC. If the hardware was unchanged, your attempt to re-install and re-activate AutoRoute 2010 would work OK, but since the hard drive (or another hardware component) has been changed, the online activation will not work. Telephone Microsoft for assistance on this one.
